BORN TO DIE – DIE TO LIVE

Death is one of the most feared human phenomenon. The next phase after death is unknown and uncertain, but it is certain that everyone who is born will one day embrace death inevitably.

At the inception of mankind, man was designed to live forever. After the fall of man, death gained entrance into a phase of life in mankind that caused his flesh to disintegrate back to its former state prior to life. Death enveloped the totality of that phase leaving mankind in darkness, suppressing them into the deepest darkest sea.

All through the existence of men, in the quest for life there has never been any genuine record of any man who has ever conquered death until sometime between 6th and 4th B.C when this was proved possible. He was born to die. He died to face death and He conquered death.

”O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? – 1 Corinthians 15:55”

… To hold death in captive, to get back the key to eternal life in other to present it back to mankind, for mankind to regain back his long lost opportunity to be immortal beings.

  • knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him – Romans 6:9
  • but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel – 2 Timothy 1:10
  • Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, – Hebrews 2:14

The Key to eternal Life is not available for all, but for all who will choose to have it. For we are yet born to die but somewhere in between birth and death is the key to the door that will lead us to the true life after death, so we don’t get trapped in the deepest darkest sea.

Our purpose, deeds and achievements according to the will of Him who has conquered death is the pass to get this key.

Remember – And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. – Hebrews 9:27-28

Do you have that key?

THE NEXT SOLAR ECLIPSE IN NIGERIA

solar eclipse occurs when an observer (on Earth) passes through the shadow cast by the Moon which fully or partially blocks (“occults”) the Sun. This can only happen when the Sun, Moon and Earth are nearly aligned on a straight line in three dimensions (syzygy) during a new moon when the Moon is close to the ecliptic plane. In a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon. In partial and annular eclipses, only part of the Sun is obscured.

Solar and Lunar Eclipse

A solar eclipse happens when the New Moon moves between Earth and the Sun while a lunar eclipse occurs when Earth casts a shadow on the Full Moon.

7 Weird Places on Earth

The Earth is one of the most beautiful planet in the Universe. Its structure, ecosystem and its ability to inhabit life in all diversity is exceptional. Below is the list of some weird places on Earth.

7. Spain Rio Tinto

The vast mines of Rio Tinto give a hypnagogic, almost martian landscape. Its growth has consumed not only mountains and valleys but even entire villages. This river has gained recent scientific interest due to the presence of extremophile aerobic bacteria that dwell in the water. The extreme conditions in the river are analogous to other locations in the solar system thought to contain liquid water, such as subterranean Mars. Río Tinto is notable for being very acidic (pH 2) and its deep reddish hue. It is metal solvent and surely not human-friendly!

6. Aurora Borealis (North Pole)

Auroras sometimes called the northern and southern (polar) lights or aurorae are natural beautiful light displays in the sky, usually observed at night, particularly in the polar regions. They typically occur in the ionosphere. The Cree people call this phenomenon the “Dance of the Spirits. Its southern counterpart, the aurora australis or the southern polar lights, has similar properties, but is only visible from high southern latitudes in Antarctica, South America, or Australasia.

5. Fly Geyser, Reno

Fly Ranch features two geysers, one of which is dormant. The other, Fly Geyser, was accidentally formed by a water well drill that hit a geothermal source, and continuously sprays hot water. Fly Ranch is private property and does not allow visitors.

4. Spotted Lake, Osoyoos, British Columbia

Spotted Lake is a saline endorheic alkali lake located northwest of Osoyoos in British Columbia. In the summer, most of the water in the lake evaporates leaving behind all the minerals. Large “spots” on the lake appear and depending on the mineral composition at the time, the spots will be different colors. The spots are made mainly of magnesium sulfate, which crystallizes in the summer. Since in the summer, only the minerals in the lake remain, they harden to form natural “walkways” around and between the spots.

3. Mount Roraima (Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana)

Since long before the arrival of European explorers, the mountain has held a special significance for the indigenous people of the region, and it is central to many of their myths and legends It is a pretty remarkable place. It is a tabletop mountain with sheer 400-meter high cliffs on all sides. There is only one ‘easy’ way up, on a natural staircase-like ramp on the Venezuelan side – to get up any other way takes and experienced rock climber. On the top of the mountain it rains almost every day, washing away most of the nutrients for plants to grow and creating a unique landscape on the bare sandstone surface.

2. Kauai, Hawaii

Kauaʻi is the oldest of the main Hawaiian Islands, it is the fourth largest of the main islands. Seaside lava ledges make for otherworldly experiences on this often-overlooked Hawaiian island.

1. The Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is a region in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels are alleged to have mysteriously disappeared in a manner that cannot be explained by human error, piracy, equipment failure, or natural disasters. Popular culture has attributed these disappearances to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial beings. Apparently it doesn’t seem alien but it is really scary!

Science Fact: Pregnancy is Contagious

Years back my mum told me stories of how she and her bestie got pregnant same time at different period and gave birth to their children almost at same or with intervals of 2-3 weeks. I was amazed and wondered if it was science, spiritual or a mere coincidence.

Not until recently, I realized through various research that having pregnant people around you can increase your risk of becoming pregnant too.

Now, that’s fascinating!

This news can be positive or negative depending on your attainment or position in life.

According to a 2014 American study, pregnancy can be contagious among women in the same social circle. The chances of getting pregnant when you bestie is pregnant is also very high.

THE STUDY

Researchers’ analysed data of 1,720 women who participated in the study called the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health. In the United States from mid-90s to mid-2000s, female participants who were at least 15 years old in 1995 were tracked through home interviews for the following 10 years.

During that 10 years, the researchers saw that nearly half of the women had a child by the time the final interview was conducted in either 2008 or 2009.

And during those interviews, researchers found out that the women had up to 10 “friendship ties” which tipped the researchers off that there might be a pattern among groups of friends as they got older.

Researchers looked specifically on the pairs that had high school friends through later years and found that yeah, that group of friends has a strong “contagion” for planned pregnancies.

“We found this effect to be short-term and inverse U-shaped: an individual’s risk of childbearing starts increasing after a friend’s childbearing, reaches a peak around two years later, then decrease,” the researchers noted.

THE CAUSE

According to the study, this pattern is what they call the “fertility influence” and the researchers tried to narrow it down exactly what was going on and why this happens.

  • Social learning: This is the theory that women are more likely to decide on motherhood themselves when they see a close friend do it successfully.
  • Social influence: Ladies don’t want to be “left behind” if their friends are moving on to this phase of their life.
  • And the third is what the researchers are calling cost-sharing. They say that there are some financial perks between friends if they can coordinate childcare and activities.

Well! if you don’t know, now you know.

More Evidence

At an elementary school in Kansas nearly half the teachers are pregnant or have just had babies. The school posted a photo of the 7 mamas-to-be on Facebook.

WOW! Interesting…

Flow and Heat Transfer Analysis of the Sodium Alginate Conveying Copper Nanoparticles between Two Parallel Plates by Akin T. Akinshilo.

Abstract. In this study, the steady in-compressible flow of a non-Newtonian sodium alginate (SA) fluid conveying copper nano-particles (Cu) which flow within two vertical parallel plates is investigated by using the homotopy perturbation analytical scheme to solve the coupled nonlinear ordinary equations arising from the mechanics of the fluid. The developed analytical solutions are used to investigate the effect of the fluid flow and heat transfer parameters such as the nano-particle concentration, the non-Newtonian parameter and the viscosity variation parameter. The obtained analytical results as compared to existing works in literature are in satisfactory agreements. Moreover, the results obtained from the present study can be used for further analysis of the behavior of the sodium alginate in applications such as food processing and chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
